NEVER would believe
that I would post anything made with Velveeta.
However, this is really good, and when I have made this....it disappears quickly! And using three
ingredients and a microwave, this couldn't be easier to whip up for any
informal occasion. With Super Bowl around the corner I thought this is the perfect time to post.
My family has enjoyed this dip for years, I really don't know where it came from.

Chili Cheese Dip
1 15 ounce can no bean chili
1 lb Velveeta cheese
8 ounces salsa
red onion for garnish
1 jalapeno pepper garnish
1 package tortilla chips
Cut the cheese into thin slices. Mix the salsa, the Velveeta and the chili together in a bowl. Microwave on high for 5 minutes, stir. Microwave another 3-4 minutes, stir.
*You can also make this in a slow cooker and leave it on warm throughout your party.
Garnish with chopped onion and slices of jalapeno if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

I wanted to say this is a old forgotten recipe, that you sort of jazzed up. I actually made this for Sunday's games and everyone loved it. Thanks! Kelly

DeleteI was actually going to make some chili this weekend. It would be fun to put some of it into a dip and have the leftovers for dinner later in the week. This looks delicious.
