Your favorite Cinnamon Whisky and chicken wings? Football never tasted soooo good! Cinnamon whisky tastes great in a mixed drink, or even straight up.....but, I'm not here to tell you how to drink your whisky. I'm here to give you the most epic football "hot wings" you will ever serve at a big game!
Now, you can follow the recipe below using hot oil to deep fry your wings or you can follow my recipe and boil the wings.
Of course the boiled wings will be lower in fat and calories.
Chicken Wings
2 lbs Chicken wings
1 T. each salt and pepper
1 c. all purpose flour
Vegetable oil or other high flash point oil
Mix the salt and pepper with the flour. Put into a paper or plastic bag. Wash the chicken and pat dry. Put into the flour mixture and shake to cover.
Fry in batches in 375 F degree oil for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Drain the excess oil on paper towels.
Cinnamon Fireball Buffalo Hot Sauce
- 1 cup Franks Hot Sauce or your favorite hot sauce
- 1/2 cup Cinnamon Fireball Whiskey or another Cinnamon whiskey
- 1 cube Unsalted Butter (cut into cubes)
- Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Enjoy!
What a week! Wee Bear and I flew to our home near Seattle. Seeing my 96 year old Mother, going to my grandson's 3rd Birthday and going on my "Inaugural" ride on my new snowmobile. A lot of my family came out to participate in my "Inaugural" ride. This picture taken on Stampede pass! Thanks to my son Dustin and wife Amy for encouraging me to get back into this sport! And to family for making it a "Great" day!
I am trying this for Super Bowl~thanks! Jill
