Instant Pot Brownies from a box

I made these delicious Instant Pot Ghirardelli Brownie bites recently for "Wee Bears" fraternity brothers along with the now famous Extreme Chocolate Chip Cookies.  The brothers come to our home annually for golf, fun and food. I flew to Seattle to be with my 97 year old Mom on Mother's day but, left them with these goodies! They gobbled up every single cookie and oowey gooey brownie.... growning with delight!

The technique is easy. Follow package instructions, I used Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Brownies, but, you can use any flavor. There is double chocolate, triple chocolate, Caramel turtle  and a few more.

I sprayed the 7 sections of my silicone pan with cooking spray.

I mixed the brownie mix with 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup oil and 1 egg.

I spooned the batter into the 7 sections of the silicone pan almost to the top. There will be some left over batter, you can make a couple more brownies in the pan after you finish this batch.

I put 1 cup of water into the instant pot and place the trivet in. Carefully place the filled silicone pan on the trivet. Lock the lid on and turn the valve to closed. I did a manual pressure for 25 minutes with a 10 minute natural release.

Please note - They won’t get “well done” or crispy at all in the Instant pot. They’ll be more like soft gooey middle of the pan brownies because of the moist environment in the Instant Pot.

  5. These are disgusting! Unless you love mushy brownies. Almost like pudding instead of brownies. Never making these again.
