Pumpkin Pie Syrup

This morning I whipped up some Pumpkin Pie Syrup for our pancakes! Starting my Wee Bear out right for his day of football and Ryder cup! Such a wonderful way to start the day! Delicious Fall treat!

Pumpkin Pie Syrup

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup water

1/2 cup corn syrup

1 tsp vanilla

1/3 cup pumpkin puree

1 tsp. pumpkin spice

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Put the sauce pan over medium high heat and bring to a simmer.
Whisking the mixture as the sugars dissolve and the mixture becomes smooth.

Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Get you pancakes and waffles or ice cream ready for a Fall treat!

  1. This was so good! I have a few questions though, what would happen if I omit the evaporated milk? Also could I add lemon juice or ground citric acid? If so, how much would you recommend?
    Thank you so much!
